High Definition Video Quality
Crisp 1080P Full HD Resolution
The SONY Starvis Image Sensor enables continuous Full HD 1080p recording, delivering exceptional clarity both day and night. With its wide 140-degree angle lens, the FX2-PRO minimises blind spots, ensuring the capture of all significant events without fail.
HIGH QUALITY FOOTAGE
The implementation of the SONY Starvis sensor significantly enhances image quality, especially during night time recording. This sensor produces sharper, more vibrant colours in Full HD images, ensuring excellent image quality even in low-light conditions. Notably, both the front and rear cameras record in Full HD, providing sharp and detailed footage from both perspectives.

Exceptional dual channel dashcam – Fantastic dual channel dash cam. The install was so incredibly easy, especially with the OBD cable option. Both cameras are amazingly discrete and there are no distracting screens or blinking lights in the field of view. The audio output volume is easily adjustable in the app and can even be turned off if desired making it the perfect protection for your car. The parking sensor will even keep your vehicle covered with front and rear video in the event of an impact whilst the car is turned off. The video and audio quality is spectacular with numberplates easily readable at day or night!

Excellent entry level camera – We have been installing these cameras since they came out and they’ve proven to be excellent little performers. For our company we look for products that are going to do what is promised, perform over time, have low hardware fault rate, decent quality hardware and are easy for the customers to interact with. We’ve worked with iRoad now for about 4 years and they’ve been excellent on all points. The FX2 Pro is small (easy to place out of the drivers line of sight while operating the vehicle), lightweight (we don’t have lots of rework having to reattach adhesives that have failed), easy app to use for the customers, low power consumption in parking mode (gives the customer the longest coverage in parking mode of any decent camera I know) and is a reasonably priced entry level model. It is only a 1080P camera, so your expectation of video footage captured needs to be realistic, but these cameras don’t cook their SD Cards and don’t jump off windows with the frequency we’ve seen on the cameras we’ve used before. We’ve installed literally thousands of iRoad cameras in the last 4 years and I can confirm that the fault rate is brilliantly low, and is better than any other hardware we have been able to source – which is why we recommend and use iRoad. I would encourage any other dealers and installers to look further into iRoad and their hardware. One closing comment – we really appreciate the way you can click on the iRoad images and expand them. This is something unique to iRoad from my understanding and it’s a GREAT feature to help enlarge the part of the footage you want to see.
